Trish Adams in her 4 week residency investigated the potentials of time-lapse microscopy under the direction of Guy Ben Ary at the Image Analysis and Acquisition Facility in the School of Anatomy and Human Biology. Preliminary research was undertaken for her 'Apoptosis' project where time-lapse techniques of visualising the artists's cells were explored through observing the responses of buccal cells from her mouth. Adams was also introduced to "hands on" tissue culture through the expertise of Stuart Hodgetts.
