Adele Senior

Adele Senior

Adele is a Ph.D. candidate in Theatre Studies at the Lancaster Institute for the Contemporary Arts, Lancaster University, UK.  Her thesis, which is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, considers the aesthetics, ethics and politics of bioart through a critical examination of the theory and practice of the Tissue Culture and Art Project (TC&A). As part of her doctoral studies she will undertake a six week residency, where she intends to conduct interviews with TC&A’s artists and observe the laboratory based practices of other artists in residence.
